The Search for Saturnalia - Four Letters - Has Anyone Ever Told You?
Review By: Allison Cabral
I can’t stop humming. I can’t get it out of my head. I can hear all of the parts very clearly - two guitarists strumming chords that intertwine in a gently forceful way. Bass lines that maneuver their way through the melodies like they were driving in a speedy car through windy mountain roads. Drum beats pounding and pushing and propelling songs forward, cymbals crashing. "You’re my four-leaf clover now, I know," I can hear David singing. Tina reassures us all that "you got what it takes." All of this times ten. Half an hour of finely crafted and delicately precise songs. Clean, but a little dirty. Uplifting, but feet planted firmly on the ground. Hearts breaking while in love. Deliberate rhythms that know when to take a left turn or when to slow down to admire the aural scenery. Seek (or Search) and it is found.
