Trust me on this one, you can't do better. The crust is like my mother used to make and the filling is sweet but tart.

Pies are not hard to make, however. If you can find the Marie Callender frozen pie crusts, use them. The key to any good pie is the crust and that's the best store bought crust you can buy.

They're good for making quiche too
